The latest version of the SDK supports redirecting the endpoint to the right region for Amazon S3 but is not able to override custom endpoints if you are using a 3rd Check your key and signing method.

JeremyShort commented May 14, 2014 I am running into the same issue. I've coded a work around and presented it to owncloud. In such cases, the system clock doesn't consistently catch up if you're using Ubuntu. Check your AWS Secret Access Key and signing method.
