If you go to this directory 'Steam/steamapps/common/battlefield2/support/readme.txt' you'll find solutions of common problems. I ran game with DieSoft (on one core, checked that even on task manager, BF2 was on one core, not changed that using batch file). In that Profiles directory are 3 folders called 0001, 0002, and Default. Have tried EVERYTHING ON THE FORUM PAGE and nothing has worked. It turns a lighter black, flashes the desktop, goes back to a dark black, lighter black, and then a dark black before crashing to windows without an error message.
