For questions about the forum, please contact the forum administrators. Low virtual memory will cross your way once continuous usage of such applications happens. Then just fix the clip by cutting in the master clip and reapplying the speed effect. I hope.
If Media Composer continues to display an error message, the sequence is severely corrupted. However, I did notice within my timeline small horizontal red lines in the upper left side of certain clips within the last 6-7 minutes where the problem was occurring. I thought this additional info might help, although this may or may not be the problem. Forgot your password?
Re Rendering with 0 handles to see if this helps. I tried the second timeline just now and it was successful. View the sequence in the Timeline with different clip information. What you must do is to find the main cause of the error to take needed troubleshoot.

Restoring a Copy of the Sequence from the Attic While Media Composer is running, the application periodically saves copies of bins to a folder called the Attic. Is the best way to fix this to remove and re-insert, or just to re-insert over the problem clip?
I have made repeated requests in the "Requested Features" Forum to have the corrupted clip's pointers FLASH in the timeline - no response. I was able to render out a DNxHD flattened QT. Troubleshooting a Sequence that Media Composer Cannot Play Detecting the corrupted edit requires the process of elimination and retracing the chronology of recent edits. I normally work with a mixture of 23.976 and 29.97 DNX media and haven't had that particular problem.

Your only options remain to restore a copy from a floppy disk or from the Attic.
