Reply chas frost October 15, 2010 at 10:51 am Sorry got a few errors in detail ‘C:\users\chas\appdata\roaming\microsoft\addins\C:\program~1\micro2~\office11\addin\outbak.dll followed by statement is not a valid office addin. I tried renaming the 2 files but it did not produce a change to my opening Outlook 2003. After going through all of that, I was still getting an error message upon opening Outlook… you helped me eliminate that and my world is right again. If I carry out a search for the outbak.dll it doesnt show.

The AV took over my computer and my MS Outlook and then wouldn't uninstall. Click the check box next to the "Microsoft Outlook Add-in" option to remove the check mark from it. Spybot resident usually on but makes no difference if switched off Previously had AVG 7.5 with no troubles at all Allowed AVG 8 Free to uninstal 7.5 March 31, 2009 I've uninstalled and reinstalled avg and this did not fix the problem.
